Custom domain names are a great way to add SEO (search engine optimization) value to your site by receiving credited site traffic back to your root domain.
Step 1: Creating the DNS Entry
If you want to use a custom domain for your calendar, first you have to add a new DNS entry at your domain name registrar’s control panel. The DNS entry should be a CNAME of ” appcd.time.ly“.
Let’s say your domain name is mydomain.com, and you want to use the subdomain “events” to display your calendar. The DNS entry would look like:
events.mydomain.com 3600 IN CNAME appcd.time.ly.

Step 2: Adding the Subdomain
Navigate to Calendar Settings > General tab> Custom Domains > Enter your subdomain and click on the Save button.
