This month, we’re introducing powerful new tools designed to give you even more control, automation, and engagement options, all while reducing manual tasks. From real-time event alerts with webhooks to exclusive access with membership plans, our August 2025 product update helps you streamline operations and better serve your audience.

Here’s what’s new:

  • Webhooks – Immediate updates and seamless integrations with your systems
  • Membership Plans – Exclusive event access, promo codes and pricing 

1. Webhooks: Real-Time Alerts and Seamless Integrations

Timely has just launched a powerful webhook feature that sends automated real-time notifications to your other systems when specific actions occur in your Timely account. For example, when an event is published, updated or saved as a draft. 

Webhooks eliminate the need for manual data exports or frequent API polling, helping you keep your CRM, marketing platforms, or custom systems automatically synchronized with Timely in real time. You can view webhook logs, check delivery statuses, and resend failed notifications, all directly from your Timely dashboard. Please contact us, if you want to enable webhooks for your account. 

Once you have enabled this feature, go to Settings, then go to Webhook Notifications. From there, you can configure new webhooks, add your endpoint URL, select which event types to monitor, and view delivery logs.

Next steps: Currently, we only support webhooks for event-based actions. However, we're actively working on extending this functionality to include ticket-related triggers and other important user actions. Stay tuned for broader support that will unlock even more powerful integrations. 

2. Membership Plans: Reward Loyalty and Offer Exclusive Perks

You can now create and manage tiered membership plans directly from your calendar, no additional tools required. Assign plans to your client contacts, set pricing, define duration, and customize benefits, including access to member-only ticket types and promo codes.

Memberships help you build stronger relationships and increase engagement by offering your most loyal contacts special perks such as:

  • Exclusive promotional codes to make members feel valued and appreciated
  • Early ticket access through dedicated sales windows, ensuring they get first pick
  • Unique pricing options, allowing you to tailor ticket costs to different member tiers
  • Access to members-only events, creating a sense of exclusivity and strengthening community among your most dedicated followers

To start, first, head to Membership > Plans and create your first membership offering.

Second, navigate to Contacts > Settings to enable the Contacts Management module and to require user sign-in to complete purchases. This ensures the Timely system can automatically recognize logged-in members and grant them access to exclusive promotional codes, tickets and events.

Last, go to All Contacts, select a contact, and assign them to a membership plan.

While members-only tickets are visible to all, only eligible members (those assigned to a membership plan) can purchase them when logged into your calendar’s public interface

Next steps: soon, you'll be able to sell membership plans directly through your public event pages. Therefore, making it even easier for your audience to join and enjoy the benefits.
