At Timely, we are constantly improving our event software solutions. Throughout the last month, we worked on several fixes and improvements to make our software even more intuitive. We also developed the new Waiting List feature, and improved the ticketing sales / registration window feature. In this post, you will learn all about our product update posted on March 1, 2023.

1. New Waiting List Feature

Planning events can be challenging, especially when tickets sell out fast. Therefore, we've developed the new Waiting List feature giving you more options for managing registrations and tickets, specially for events that tend to be popular or limited!

Take a look at all the possibilities this new feature provides:

  • Optimize Event Attendance: ensure that every seat is taken and every registrant will show up. Any sudden changes of plans are easily handled, with a quick cancellation that frees up the spot for another interested attendee.
  • Automatic Communication: streamline communication with attendees and let them know when new spots and tickets are available automatically.
  • Easy Set Up and Management: quickly activate the waiting list setup and notifications option with a few clicks. If needed, you can just as easily remove the waiting list option from your tickets.

To set up your ticket registration window, go to Events > Add Event > Cost and Tickets > Waiting List.

2. Ticket Registration Window

To further optimize our event registration and event ticketing software, we've improved the ticket registration window settings. Now, Timely customers are able to select the beginning and end of registration or ticket sales for their events.

For example, if you have an event planned for Monday and want to maximize ticket sales, you can extend sales past the event's start date, so people can get tickets even after it has begun.

To set up this feature, go to Events > Add Event > Cost and Tickets > Ticket Registration Window.
