In the past month, we’ve rolled out powerful software improvements designed to make managing events easier, more organized, and more scalable. From centralized document management to smarter promotional codes and clearer attendance tools, these enhancements help your team stay organized while delivering a smoother experience for organizers and participants.
Here’s what’s new:
- Add documents to your events — Attach contracts, permits, floor plans, and more directly within the dashboard event creation flow. No more scattered files.
- Promotional codes for Community Event submissions — Run discount campaigns beyond ticketing by applying codes during paid event submissions and room bookings.
- Smarter attendance tracking tools — Benefit from clearer QR code scan feedback, improved search, and better visibility of ticket types and time slots.
- New filters for customer profile accounts — Help event registrants and submitters quickly find their tickets, submitted events, and room booking requests when logged into their accounts.
These updates reduce friction for both organizers and attendees, giving you more flexibility to grow and manage paid events with confidence.
1. New Event Documents
You can now upload documents directly within the dashboard event setup flow.
Attach contracts, permits, floor plans, insurance certificates, technical riders, and other key files within the event form. All uploaded documents are securely stored in your Media Library, keeping your files centralized and structured. There you can also create document folders to organize and store your documents.
2. Promotional Codes for Community Events
Promotional codes can now be applied directly within the event submission form for paid submissions. This feature works with paid event submissions using the Services & Fees feature, as well as with paid space and resource bookings, whether or not Services & Fees is enabled.
This update gives your organization greater flexibility when running discount campaigns and creates a scalable foundation for expanding discount capabilities across software modules.
To create or edit a promotional code, go to Settings, then on the Applicable To field select Community Events.
3. Ticketing / RSVP: Improved Attendance Tracking Page
The former QR Code screen has been renamed to Attendance, reflecting its full purpose. We also improved usability and scan feedback.
You will now see:
- More consistent attendee search
- Scan confirmations with date and time
- Ticket type and time slot visibility when applicable
- Informational messages for repeated scans instead of error alerts
You can access the new Attendance page from your dashboard by clicking on the QR code symbol on the top right corner of the screen, or from within the Ticketing/RSVP menu.
4. End User: New Filtering Tool on the My Tickets and My Events Pages
End users can now filter their tickets, event submissions and space reservations when logged into their accounts.
New filtering options are available on the My Tickets and My Events pages, making it easier for users to locate specific purchases or submissions quickly. Instead of scrolling through long lists, users can narrow results and find what they need in seconds.
This improvement reduces frustration, saves time, and delivers a smoother self-service experience for attendees and community event organizers alike.
