At Timely, we are constantly working to enhance our event software solutions and better serve our customers. We're excited to share the latest product updates from Timely. Our Product Update: November 2, 2023 includes a new submitted events page, date picker in week, month, and year view, layout improvements, CSV reports improvements, and ICS file improvement. Let's dive in!
1. New Submitted Events Page
We’ve created a new screen to make it easier for our clients to see and manage all their submitted events. This new page is available on the Community Events menu, Submitted Events tab.
Besides being able to approve or reject events from this new screen, now, it is possible to see all the submitted events, including the rejected ones, as well as the event submitters’ answers to custom questions.
2. Date Picker in Week, Month, and Year View
Previously, when using the Week, Month, or Year calendar views, the date navigation was fixed on the screen. For example, if you were on the Week View and wanted to see a week in the following year, you would have to navigate through each week until you found the desired one.
However, we fixed that! Now, you can easily select the year, month, and day to quickly find the period you want. This makes it less time-consuming and more efficient to navigate through the calendar and find the specific time period you need.
3. Dashboard Layout Improvements
In the past month, we improved the alignment of the list on the Orders Tab on the Ticketing / RSVP menu. This makes it easier to read and scan the list of orders.
4. CSV Reports Improvements
We've added rsvp and ticket custom fields to the attendee list report and changed the format of the orders CSV report to match the standard of the rsvp and tickets CSV report. This makes it easier to use and analyze the CSV reports.
5. ICS File Improvement
We've also added the ability to export and import the "Featured Events" field in the ICS file. This makes it easier to share your featured events with other Timely calendars when using the ICS/iCal Feed URL.
