1. Accessibility Enhancements in Calendar Views and Toolbar
Aligned with our commitment outlined in our Web Accessibility Statement, we have implemented key accessibility enhancements to improve the experience for users who rely on screen readers and keyboard navigation. We tailored these updates to provide seamless interaction and usability across several critical areas of our platform.
- Month View: We optimized navigation to allow users to explore and interact with calendar events more intuitively using assistive technologies.
- Modern List View: We refined this view to simplify navigation through event lists, making it easier for users to identify and select items effortlessly.
- Toolbar Accessibility: We improved accessibility features in the toolbar, ensuring all functions are fully operable through keyboard shortcuts and properly announced by screen readers for clarity.
These updates reflect our commitment to creating an inclusive platform. Further, enabling all users to engage with events and tools effortlessly, regardless of their abilities.
2. Custom Translation Improvements
Venue names can now include custom translations across all calendar views. Such as Posterboard, Tile, and Agenda, as well as within RSVP and ticket descriptions. Furthermore, this feature allows event organizers to provide venue information in multiple languages. Thus, ensuring attendees can view venue names in their preferred language. Finally, by offering localized content, organizers can create a more inclusive and tailored experience for diverse audiences.
3. Improved Custom Filter Listings
The upgraded filter management screen clearly displays the application of each custom filter. Therefore, not requiring users to enter edit mode. This improvement simplifies understanding and managing filters. Additionally, we renamed the “Purchasers” filter type to “Contacts” for greater clarity and applicability across user types.
