At Timely, we are constantly striving to enhance our event software solutions to meet the evolving needs of our valued customers. We are pleased to introduce you to the latest product updates, packed with new features and improvements. This Product Update: August 1, 2023 post includes a new Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager integration, updated API documentation, and more. Let's dive into what's new!

1. Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager Integration

Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) are two services provided by Google. While GA tracks and reports website and mobile app traffic, offering valuable data and metrics for businesses and marketers, GTM simplifies the process of adding and updating tags, making it more efficient for marketers and website owners.

The new integration with GA and GTM offers several key benefits to Timely’s customers, including enhanced marketing insights, efficient tag management, and data-driven decision making.

2. API Documentation Text Review

We’ve thoroughly reviewed our API Documentation to ensure clarity and provide customers with a seamless experience while accessing the API page.

3. Enhancements to Orders Tab - CSV Export

We have introduced a new CSV report specific to the Orders tab, providing comprehensive Order information and related Items. This improvement enhances data ordering and eliminates duplicates, making data analysis more efficient.

4. Responsive Toolbar for Small Screens

To enhance the Timely’s public interface on smaller screens, we have optimized the calendar toolbar's responsiveness. Now, the toolbar buttons display icons only, improving appearance and usability, particularly in cases with numerous displayed items.

5. Ticket Type Added to Attendee List Report - QR Code

In the Attendee List Report, we've included the Ticket Type field to easily identify the type of purchased ticket, especially in orders with multiple tickets/RSVPs. This enhancement simplifies event management and improves attendee communication.

6. Identification of Deleted Events

To improve data clarity, we now identify permanently deleted events in the dashboard. When an event is permanently deleted, the event-related data is still listed on the Ticketing / RSVP menu. In particular, on the Orders, Invoices, Tickets, and RSVP screens. However, now, the system displays a tooltip with the message "The event was permanently deleted".

This enhancement ensures that users are aware of the event's permanent deletion and helps avoid confusion.
