This month’s highlights include enhanced reporting capabilities, improved space booking options, and greater customization for event organizers. We designed these updates to streamline operations and optimize your Timely experience. Let’s explore what’s new!
1. Event and Training Management Software
1.1 Contact Management: Custom Fields for Ticket Purchasers
As part of our End-User Management deliverables, we added a new section to the purchaser’s profile page, allowing them to view and manage their personal information. This section also enables purchasers to complete custom fields related to their specific purchase details.
This new feature gives organizers flexibility to gather purchaser-specific details, helping create more personalized experiences for attendees. Currently, custom fields can be added to sign-up forms, and we plan to extend this functionality to the checkout process in future updates.
1.2 Filters in Community Events Email Templates
Filters applied to a submitted event can now be added as dynamic fields in Community Events email templates.
1.3 Multi-Language Event Export for Customers
Building on our multi-language event capabilities, we’ve enhanced the "Add to Calendar" feature. Now, end-users can export events from your calendar and import them into their personal calendars in their preferred language. This new feature ensures a seamless, localized experience for attendees.
1.4 New Language Support: Norwegian
To expand accessibility, we’ve added Norwegian as a supported language in both the public view and dashboard. This update enables event organizers to offer their events in Norwegian, reaching a broader audience and enhancing user engagement.
2. Venue Management Software
2.1 Export PDF Reports with Events and Spaces
For Professional and Enterprise users of our Venue Management Software, it is now possible to export comprehensive PDF reports that include both events and space bookings. This feature simplifies the process of generating detailed reports for internal use or distribution, enhancing venue management capabilities.
2.2 Space Booking: Control Minimum and Maximum Time Slots
We’ve added the ability to set minimum and maximum booking durations for spaces. This gives venue managers more flexibility to control how long spaces can be booked, ensuring that bookings fit within operational guidelines and venue schedules.
When customers attempt to book a space, they will be notified of the minimum and maximum time slot durations if their request exceeds these limits.
2.3 Persistent Space Selection During Space Bookings
To enhance booking efficiency, we’ve improved the system so that during the booking processes, while filling out the form, selected spaces remain reserved even when event details such as date or time are changed. If the space is still available, the selection will persist, reducing the need to reselect spaces and streamlining the booking process for customers.
2.4 Block Space Availability for Specific User Types
Venue managers now have more control over space bookings with the ability to block availability based on user roles, such as internal system users or external clients. This feature provides an added layer of flexibility in managing how and when spaces are booked.
2.5 Renaming and Color-Coding Block Out Dates
We’ve updated the "Block Availability" feature with clearer naming conventions and added color coding to help distinguish which blocks apply to different user types. These visual enhancements make it easier to manage space availability efficiently.
2.6 Bulk Removal of Block Out Dates
Managing space availability just got easier with the option to remove block out dates in bulk. Venue managers can now select multiple spaces and remove all upcoming blocks at once, saving time and simplifying the scheduling process.
