This month’s updates are all about giving you greater flexibility and control. We’ve introduced powerful new features to streamline event management and enhance the attendee experience. From custom space filters to post-event ticket sales, the June 2025 product updates are designed to simplify your workflow and help you make the most of every event.
Here’s what’s new:
- Custom Filters for Spaces
- Charge for Resources with Space Bookings
- POS: Sell Tickets After Event Ends
- Reports Now Include Resource Data
- Ticketing and RSVP for Private Events
- New Calendar Embed: Show Only Upcoming Events
1. Custom Space Filters: Help Customers Find the Right Venue Faster
Users of our Space Management System can now create custom filters for spaces, making it easier to organize and access information based on specific features. This enhancement allows for personalized organization of spaces, letting users quickly narrow down the information they need. Additionally, you can embed filtered views into other platforms, ensuring that only the most relevant spaces are displayed to your audience.

2. Charge for Resources: Monetize Equipment and Services Alongside Space Bookings
Timely now supports charging for resource reservations together with space bookings. This enhancement is part of a broader, comprehensive resource management module within our Venue Management Software that includes resource creation, inventory management, reservation scheduling, and financial reporting.

By setting prices and allowing paid reservations for resources, you can monetize your offerings when renting out spaces. To implement this, configure pricing and availability within your resource management settings and activate payment options through your Timely account.

3. POS Enhancement: Sell Tickets Even After the Event Ends
With this update, the Event Point of Sale (POS) module now allows users to sell tickets or register RSVPs even after an event has ended. This change caters to scenarios where attendees might want to register late, ensuring greater accessibility and boosting engagement even post-event.
To leverage this feature, simply process ticket sales through the POS interface for past events as needed. Please note that online sales will still follow the event’s configured "Sales Window" settings.

4. Reports Now Include Resources – Gain Deeper Operational Insights
New enhancements to the PDF and CSV reports now offer detailed resource usage information. These reports display all events associated with each resource, along with the specific quantities required for each.
This level of detail provides greater oversight of resource allocation, helping you plan more effectively and optimize asset utilization. You can access these insights via the Reports module, selecting the Resource Utilization report for comprehensive summaries.

5. Ticketing and RSVP for Private Events: Secure and Seamless Check-ins
You can now sell tickets and validate check-ins with QR codes for private events using the POS system. Just set your event to private, manage sales through POS, and scan QR codes at the door or through your dashboard for a smooth, secure entry process.
6. New Embed Code Setting: Display Only Upcoming Events
A new setting allows embedded calendars to automatically display only upcoming events based on date and time. When you enable this new setting, embedded calendars will display only events that haven't started yet, based on both date and time. Previously, past events from earlier in the day could still appear, but with this option checked, your calendar stays clean and focused on what's coming up.
