We're thrilled to introduce the latest product updates for July, packed with new features and enhancements to streamline your event organization. From improvements to the timezone settings and event submission form to a new Order tab and online payment provider, let's explore what's new!
1. Enhanced Timezone Settings
Managing timezones is critical for displaying accurate event information to your audience. To provide more flexibility, we've introduced the "Load calendar" setting, allowing you to choose how the calendar is presented in the public view.
You can now select from three options: loading for the local timezone based on the browser, loading based on the calendar timezone setting, or disabling timezone conversion altogether. Additionally, we've improved the timezone display in the event form, making it easier to understand and customize.
2. Remove Categories Links
The new "Remove the Categories Links" feature allows users to choose whether categories should be displayed as clickable links or informative text on the event detail page. By disabling the setting, users can view categories, tags, and venue information without triggering unintended filters. This enhancement improves clarity and accessibility, providing a seamless navigation experience.
You have the flexibility to disable this setting, if desired, on Settings > Design menu.
3. Send Attendee List via Email
Engaging with your event participants is crucial for effective communication. With the new "Send Attendees list via email" feature, you can enable the option to send a list of attendees to specified recipients before the event starts.
Customize the email content and timing, and ensure compliance with Timely's Privacy Policy. This feature empowers you to provide important event information and updates to your event partners conveniently.
4. Enhancements to Ticket Add-On
In our pursuit of increasing monetization opportunities for our customers, we've enriched the Ticket Add-On features. All plans, including the free plan, now can enjoy the following new capabilities:
- Time-slot Registration;
- Time-slot Ticketing;
- Booking Request;
- Waiting List;
- Multi-billing for ticketing;
- Customizable RSVP and Ticketing emails;
- Recurring bookings;
- Availability Dashboard; and
- Block availability.
These enhancements offer more options for monetization and provide added value to you and your event participants.
5. New Payment Provider: Authorize.net
We're excited to announce a new payment provider option for our customers. You can now integrate Authorize.net as your preferred payment gateway as your payment receivables and start accepting payments seamlessly.
6. New Order Tab for Efficient Management
We're excited to introduce the new Orders tab in the Ticketing / RSVP menu. This new version of the Invoices tab provides a unified view of orders and associated items.
Easily manage your orders, download invoices in CSV or PDF formats, and perform actions such as acceptance, rejection, cancellation, refund, and notifying the purchaser. Enjoy the convenience of bulk actions at the order level, empowering you to efficiently handle your event transactions.
